About

After High School applied to Art , Architecture and Engineering Schools. I ended up studying  Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo,  while continuing to take art classes on the side. My interest in art has never wavered and I have spent most of my idle time studying master & modern artists. I’m for the most part a self taught artist and continue to explore creative techniques to add interest to my art. Additionally, my career has taken me to most parts of the United States for extended periods of time, which has allowed me the opportunity to explore, study numerous galleries and artists. I have also been an avid art collector since the age of 18 and I have traveled most parts of Europe, Asia, Cuba and Mexico to explore art, collect art and meet artist.

I was born and raised in Northern California and have been interested in art & architecture since an early age.

My pieces are colorful bold forms influenced by my interest in patterns, geometric shapes and shadows…graphic….yet free flowing…creating three dimensional feelings through the use of bright acrylic paints, epoxy, paper and glass. At first glance, the finished pieces may look arbitrary, but the patterns, color combinations as well as the different affects are thought through in detail before I start each piece. I then layer each style one by one onto the panel, modify the flow of the mixtures – acrylic paints with varying additives (slowing or accelerate the drying process) combined with the curing process of the epoxy to create different affects
